Broiler Farms: Specialized Operations for Efficient Meat Production
Jahan Kavah Company’s journey in the agricultural sector began with a focus on trading and importing animal feed ingredients. After a decade of establishing its expertise, the company expanded its operations to encompass the production of feed and later, concentrated animal feed. In September 2022, driven by a commitment to contributing to the country’s poultry meat supply, Jahan Kavah established its first broiler farm with a production capacity of 60,000 birds. By the end of that year, the company had expanded to six broiler production farms across Mazandaran province, with a total capacity of 320,000 chicks. In 2023, Jahan Kavah’s broiler farms grew to nine, with a production capacity of 427,000 birds.
Today, Jahan Kavah boasts an impressive production capacity of 500,000 birds, translating to approximately 7,000 tons of broiler meat annually. This remarkable achievement has positioned Jahan Kavah as one of the largest broiler meat producers in Mazandaran province.
A distinguishing feature of Jahan Kavah’s poultry production is the consistency of its flocks, characterized by the lowest production coefficient and minimal carcass shrinkage. This exceptional quality is attributed to the company’s utilization of three renowned breeds: Ross, Cobb, and Arian. The dressed chicken (without skin, viscera, and entrails) yield from these farms is a remarkable 80%, with a carcass shrinkage of only 20-21%. This exceptional feed conversion ratio and low carcass shrinkage have garnered the attention and preference of regional slaughterhouses, making Jahan Kavah’s farms a sought-after supplier.
A testament to Jahan Kavah’s expertise is exemplified by the performance of its Arian broiler farm. At 42 days of age, the birds achieve an average weight of 2,500 grams with a feed conversion ratio of 1.71 using a specialized feed ration. In contrast, the Arian chicken catalog lists an average weight of 2,470 grams and a feed conversion ratio of 1.81 for the sixth week.
Similarly, the Ross chicken catalog indicates an average weight of 2,600 grams and a feed conversion ratio of 1.63 for 42-day-old birds. Remarkably, Jahan Kavah’s farms have consistently achieved an average weight of 2,800 grams with a feed conversion ratio of 1.6 at 42 days of age. This remarkable feat signifies the company’s ability to produce more chicken meat with less feed consumption.
This exceptional performance is the culmination of a decade and a half of experience in animal feed production and broiler farming. Jahan Kavah Company Afzar Khazar, guided by meticulous scientific methods and cutting-edge technology, has consistently positioned itself as a pioneer in the animal feed and poultry production industry. The company’s unwavering commitment to utilizing modern equipment, employing industry experts, and adopting innovative farming practices has solidified its reputation as a leading force in the sector.
Jahan Kavah Company 's Recipe for Broiler Production Excellence: A Closer Look
All broiler farms are advanced and mechanized. Chickens are raised in a six-week cycle and are ultimately prepared for transportation to the slaughterhouse in optimal health and hygiene conditions. All chickens are inspected before going to the slaughterhouse. In case of any injury, lameness, or any other damage, or if the chickens are underweight, they are separated and eliminated.
Achieving the best formula for broiler chicken feed to achieve the best conversion ratio is one of the significant achievements of Jahankaveh Company. The use of high-quality imported ingredients, a balanced and quality feed ration, along with essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and feed additives, has turned Jahankaveh’s broiler chicken feed into a complete product for broiler chicks. All of these factors have led to customer loyalty to Jahankaveh Company.
Due to this loyalty, Jahankaveh Company in the Caspian Horizon is continuously striving to increase the quality and quantity of its productions by employing skilled and capable human resources.
Quality Control Laboratory
In the livestock and poultry feed industry, quality control of raw materials is of paramount importance. This is because the quality of the raw materials directly impacts the nutritional value, safety, and overall quality of the final feed product. Therefore, a robust quality control system is essential to ensure that only high-quality raw materials are used in the feed production process.
The quality control department plays a pivotal role in this process, relying heavily on standardized analytical protocols to assess the quality of incoming raw materials. These protocols outline specific procedures and techniques for evaluating various parameters.
